I was skeptical about the whole thing, but was pleasantly surprised by the ease of the setup and the performance. For installation I followed the included quick start guide. For those who like me wonder how to enter the wireless password to connect Ooma to the network, it is entered in the computer. The instructions on this are very clear and an ethernet cable is provided.Given my previous negative experience with the wireless home theater rear speaker setup, I was particularly worried about the call quality with the wireless connection of Ooma to the router, but, actually , it is great. Neither us nor the callers can tell that we are using VoIP and not the usual landline. I live in a tri-level condo, and Ooma is on the top floor in the bedroom, and the router and the modem are on the second level in the living room. That seems to be the case. There is this blue light that blinks in a seemingly random pattern. It's big - it's annoying - it has nothing to do with the adapter's function. I put a small piece of electrical tape over it, so the whole thing is just black now.
